I’m Annower Molla, born on 29th February 2000 in the region of Santiniketan, West Bengal, India. Growing up, I was a quiet and introverted child, more comfortable with books than with crowds. School days were often spent immersed in study; with social anxiety I rarely participated in any public event. But life has a way of teaching through experience. Living in different places with different people after my 10th standard helped me come out of my shell.

One of my earliest formative experiences was in 2011, when I traveled to Darjeeling for the All-India Science Festival, a seven-day tour with students from across the country. That trip remains one of my fondest school memories. I've always found it easier to express myself through writing, especially the thoughts I struggle to say out loud.

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic & Pottery from Visva Bharati University in Santiniketan, a place deeply rooted in art and creativity, founded by Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Being a part of that legacy nurtured my creative instincts. My studies there gave me a strong foundation in design, materials, and ceramic manufacturing. I had the opportunity to travel across India, visiting ceramic industries and institutions like CSIR-CGCRI, gaining firsthand insight into the world of materials.

Pursuing my passion further, I earned my Master’s degree in Materials Science from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formerly WBUT) in 2023. During this time, I served as the department representative for two years and visited MSME Tool Room in Kolkata to explore advanced manufacturing tools. My final-year research project was a collaborative effort with UGC-DAE CSR and Amity University, guided by Dr. Madhumita Mukhopadhyay and Dr. Debostreeta Bose. I also participated in several academic events, including the Fifth Regional Science and Technology Congress.

Currently, I am doing research at Sister Nivedita University in collaboration with UGC-DAE CSR, under the supervision of Dr. Rama Ranjan Bhattacharjee. Alongside my research, I am actively involved in the Institution Innovation Council, organizing bootcamps across the state to promote STEM education among young minds. We've also led medical camps and educational conclaves in the remote regions of the Sundarbans, combining science with community service.
